For the Motherland Chronicles project :iconmotherlandchronicles: (Follow us on Facebook and Tumblr!)

My first underwater photoshoot! Read and watch the behind-the-scenes here :D blog.zhangjingna.com/2013/07/m…

Thank you Jessica for pulling it together and Brenda for all the guidance. It was difficult and I'd never been in the water for so long (6 hours?) but I learnt so much. Can't wait to try it again!! Hope you guys like the picture~

Such a good shot. The lighting is amazing for an underwater shot, and the fact that Jessica has such a serene countenance is wonderful. The dress has a wonderful flow, like smoke. Also, the color of her hair between the dress and her face really brings focus to her face in the darkness. I really hope that you do more of these images, as you (and your models) have a great sense of the concept you are pursuing. I've run out of words, but I'm really impressed and hope to someday do as well. Very nicely done! ^_^ Great work!

First of all....I really love this photo!!! This is simply an amazing work from the lens.

Vision is simply outstanding. A real eye candy! Amazing effort on underwater shoot.

We all know that underwater photography can be difficult, but this simply put magic. In my eyes, it felt like it's telling a story of a beginning where a goddess merges to a world of nothingness. The background was all black, so it simply tells a story of beginning.

Water is a difficult element to master but the photo shows water taming. I'm amazed on how the clothes dances on the water, it's really beautiful. The model is also a real beauty, she's like a real goddess. Simply graceful and elegant.

In conclusion, I love everything and everything about this photo. I could stare at it forever because of its beauty and elegance.
