I absolutely love this, the delicate papery flowers, the water around her, her hair flowing out in that way... This is probably one of my favorite works of yours. It's all very dreamlike, I love it a lot.
I do think that the banner takes something away from it, but seeing as it was meant to be uncensored, it isn't a huge deal. I WISH I had more knowledge than just "This looks right" or "This doesn't look quite right" so that I could write a critique, but I don't, so that's all I can offer to you!
This whole series is phenomenal. This work in particular is outstanding, but i find the banner disruptive. A more organic thing to do would have been to use the surrounding flowers to tactfully cover, or maybe some diaphanous cloth. The movement generated by the circular wreathing of flowers is abruptly halted by the black bar of the banner. Another alternative would've been some more ornamentation strung across. But what do i know? 8)
I really like how you arranged the whole picture, especially all the flowers. At first glance, I didn´t notice she was partially underwater, and I was asking myself how you´d make the flowers float like this. Took me some time to understand the woman and the flower are floating in water, because the water is so subtle.
I especially enjoy the details in this picture, though. The flowers, some of which look like they´re rotting already, the necklace, the way her hair is arranged, the lighting ... just plain gorgeous.
Is this a photomontage, or did you arrange and shoot it exactly like this?
