This has an almost Cletic feel to it. Magical, in it's use of light and shadow. Her posture is strong, and contemplative, as if she were drawing on some inner force to accomplish some great task. The Flames are perfect, flawless timing. The subtle illumination brings out an older more primitive beauty, one electric lighting can not achieve. To capture elements this subtle, almost dreamlike is to have reached a level of talent that is truly beyond that of a photographer, and solidly in the realm of Artist. When technique and talent can obtain such beauty, you have achieved some magic of your own.
Epic Freediving Footage in Underwater Video "Ocean Gravity"
Created by Guillaume Nery and Julie Gautier, "Ocean Gravity" is an amazing look at the weightlessness associated with being underwater. Created without special effects, the film follows a freediver on a fast-paced, high energy drift across the seafloor in Rangiroa, French Polynesia. Regarding the creation of the film, Nery said that he's fascinated by uncharted territories — specifically the ocean and space. "To touch the sea floor or to set foot on an unexplored planet, here are two fascinating adventures which feed my thirst for unknown,"
Firstly your works al ways moves me. One photo sums up all that an entire movie between directing to music could offer in one beautiful image. The only thing I would change about this photo is give it a bit more space on the bottom with the amazing dark tones you have giving the lit part an extra glow. So wonderful. Very little to critique as always.
