Hope December's been good to you so far. :3

I'm into my last two days in Lijiang. Flying back to Singapore tomorrow morning. And because of the great Chinese firewall I haven't been able to update twitter and blogger at all. Gah.

I'm here with Abby on a real holiday. It's so friggin awesome I can't believe I'm surviving it without guilt (like, no work? really? haha).

I'd been meaning to go on a holiday for a while now, but it just never really quite happened. I'm kinda glad that Abby reminded me of the supposed existence of such a intended trip one random day... I would have scheduled the whole of December for work otherwise. >_>

During my visit to the dA in L.A. last month, I was asked whether I'd seen the newly introduced framed prints from their prints store. I said no.

And a couple days after I'd returned to Singapore... I received these:


They are just way way way way way too nice. Srsly.

Thank you so so much guys, you have no idea how touched I am. T_T


The packages were actually pretty heavy, if I were the postman, I'd have been annoyed at having to lug these up four flights of stairs to my apartment. So thank you too, Mr. Postman~

The print quality and presentation are so awesome I can't find anywhere in my house actually worthy of having them hung.

Plus it'd be kinda narcissistic, lol. Oh well, I guess I'll figure something out eventually.

I won the title of Overseas Master Photographer of the Year at the Master Photography Awards 2009, held last Sunday at Hilton in Newcastle, UK.

We did a short interview with BBC briefly after the awards dinner, at which point I was so overwhelmed my brain fried and refused to function. If you do actually happen upon it when it's out (I don't know when, and people somehow always find out about these things before I do), please forgive me for sounding too dumb lol. *headdesks*

I did a shoot with `larafairie during my super short stay in London. It was a simple one, we photographed some portraits for each other, don't expect too much, but I admit that do like the pics a lot.


Some people have written to me to inquire about the Postcard Collection, I'm sorry about the delay in rolling it out, just with all these travelling it's impossible right now. I promise it will be ready for order next month so the festive deliveries can be made in time~ ^^

In LA now till Sat, will be visiting the dA #hq tomorrow. I'm so super duper excited~!!
