I've gotten my X Japan tickets.

I will be going to Tokyo for about 5 weeks next month. From March 15th till April 19th. While I am there I plan to do a few photoshoots. I am looking for people who would like to be part of the wonderful experience to creations. Models/talents, makeup/hair, clothes, translators/assistants, etc. Experiences are not required. If you're in Tokyo or will be there at the same time, read on. ^^

I will limit myself to 2 fashion shoots with designers and models from top agencies in Tokyo at most, what I hope to do are shots more inclined towards having EGL/EGA, Visual, kimono, etc, things that are more visual and Japanese culture influenced, since, afterall, I am in Japan. You are also free to give suggestions.

TALENTS/MODELS:
- Info: Your Height, Vital stats
- 1 clear face shot, hair pulled back, minimal/no makeup
- 1 clear full body shot
- Please keep your images under 100KB each
- 2-3 other pictures, photoshoots etc/link to your portfolio (Optional)
- Your schedule
- Experience is not required, girls or boys both welcomed, you never know if I love your face.

Height and vital stats are not top priority to me, I just need to know in order to prepare clothes to your sizes, so don't worry and do not lie. You may also introduce your Japanese friends ^^


MAKEUP ARTISTS/HAIR STYLISTS:
- 3-4 images, file size under 100KB each
- Portfolio link (Optional)

WARDROBE STYLISTS/DESIGNERS:
- Info: Your style and sizes
- Portfolio link or Wardrobe catalogue link
- Your schedule

For wardrobe you can either be a designer, stylist, or simply someone just wanting your beautiful wardrobeful of dresses photographed. Let me know the sizes of clothing/shoes you have, and styles. I'm looking for interesting, unique, textured pieces (don't worry about finishings). You can also be a textile designer and we play around with fabrics alone.


TRANSLATORS/ASSISTANTS:
- Your schedule
- Location scouting. You will have to accompany me once to recce/scout a location (if it was suggested and not one that I had already been to) prior to the photoshoot, and if permission is needed, help me negotiate with the person-in-charge there.
- Logistics. I'm usually not complicated with this, but there may be little things/props that I need which I do not have with me, you will have to help me prepare.


If you're simply interested in helping out and see how I do a photoshoot, just email me and let me know you're interested (knowing Japanese is a plus) Clearly if someone applies via here you are likely to definitely know English, but in cases if I have a pure Japanese team with me, I will require someone who can help translate and organize.

I've put experience not required for all the openings because many people I'd worked with before were new, many girls I've shot before have never ever modelled before either, I believe it takes more of a keen interest and heart than experience to create wonderful works.

You will receive the final images from the shoot in prints. There are also chances the images may be included into my photobook of personal works, in which you will be credited, and what you will also get is experience and wonderful photos for your portfolio.

Although the stay period is rather long, I have very limited shooting time and slots. Please do not be upset if you are not selected, there'll be next time. I will also try to pick different people for each shoot so as many individuals as possible will get a chance to join the team. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you for reading~!
